Weber Kettle 26-inch is a game changer for my backyard

My love for cooking with fire while camping has made its way to my backyard. The past year I’ve spent messing around in the backyard with live fire cooking and smoking meats. The three primary tools I’ve used are the Weber Kettle Performer Deluxe (22-inch grill), the Weber Smokey Mountain, and most recently the Weber Kettle 26-inch.

Out of those three the most versatile has been the Weber Kettle 26-inch. I picked it up on the marketplace used for a few hundred bucks and couldn’t be happier. Well, besides the weak legs (soon to be remedied). The amount of food you can cook on the 26-inch, whether you’re smoking meats or grilling over charcoal, is absolutely fantastic. It made my 22-inch Kettle Performer seem tiny after using it a few times.

I didn’t wanted to keep all three of these cookers, so I sold the 22-inch Performer. Yeah I’ll miss the table and gas starter, but having the huge cooking space of the 26-inch and 22-inch WSM is just about all I need for all my backyard adventures!
