Gift Ideas for Campers, Overlanders, and Offroaders

Take a look at some of the items we’ve curated in the list below…

All-Top Offroad Recover Kit: Snatch Strap, Hitch Reciever, & Heavy Duty D Ring Shackles – $87

Our favorite holiday pick

And it comes with a nice bag! Every offroader, overlander, and outdoorsman should have a vehicle recovery kit like this in their truck, SUV, or van. This allows you to extract people who are stuck or your own vehicle if you’re traveling with a group. For under $100 this is a great value!

Ryno Tuff Sleeping Pad for Camping and Overlanding – $37

Sleep in comfort hile camping.

I’ve slept on this sleeping pad in the back of my truck and in our Gazelle T4 tent. It’s warm, relatively thick, and rolls up nice and tight. No air pumps need as it’s self-inflating and you can top it off with air using your own lungs if needed. You can even snap two together using the built-in button snaps! Pretty awesome.

Checking in around $40, this makes the perfect secret santa gift. Read our full review to dig deeper.

VIAIR 88p Portable Air Compressor – $89

A must-have piece of equipment for every overlander

Airing down your tires when going offroad is one of the most important things you can do. It adds traction and helps avoid punctures all while smoothing out the ride. But of course you’ll need a way to air back up once you return to pavement and civilization — and that’s where the VIAIR 88p Air Compressor comes in. I have this and absolutely love it. You can get it for just under $90 and it’ll last you many years.

Mr. Heater Buddy Portable Propane Heater for Camping & Overlanding – $100

This has got us through some really cold nights. Just attach one of those green 5lb. Coleman propane bottles and you’re good to go. I’ve used it in my tent and truck bed to take the chill off before falling asleep and waking up throughout the night. It’s not recommended to sleep with it running. For $100 this can be the difference between a miserable morning and a nice morning while camping.

I’d say that’s a pretty solid list for now! I’ll be adding more items in the coming week as I see them return to stock or go onsale. Happy Holidays everyone!
